Neighbors Helping Street Pups of Corpus Christi is more than just a rescue organization – we're a community of compassionate individuals dedicated to giving every street dog a second chance at love, safety, and happiness.
Founded on the belief that every animal deserves love and safety, our organization began when local residents couldn't ignore the growing number of stray and abandoned dogs on Corpus Christi's streets.
What started as a few neighbors helping injured strays has grown into a dedicated rescue network. We understand that these animals aren't just statistics – they're individuals with unique personalities, trauma histories, and the capacity for boundless love when given the chance.
We believe every street dog deserves rescue, rehabilitation, and a loving forever home.
Our strength comes from neighbors helping neighbors, fostering hope together.
Our comprehensive approach ensures every rescued pup gets the care, love, and support they need to thrive.
We actively patrol Corpus Christi neighborhoods, responding to calls about injured, sick, or abandoned dogs needing immediate help and safety.
Every rescued dog receives full veterinary care including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, medical treatment, and ongoing health monitoring.
Our caring foster families provide temporary homes where dogs learn to trust humans again, receive socialization, and prepare for adoption.
Behavioral rehabilitation and basic training help our dogs overcome trauma and learn the skills needed to become wonderful family companions.
We carefully screen potential adopters and match dogs with families based on lifestyle, experience, and the unique needs of each individual dog.
Our commitment doesn't end at adoption. We provide ongoing support, training resources, and are always available for questions or guidance.
